Minimalist Lighting

Minimalist lighting does its job and steps back. Clean lines, honest materials, no ornament. These are the pendants, sconces and ceiling fixtures for rooms where the architecture should speak first.

Minimalist fixtures are unforgiving about everything around them. With no shade or ornament to hide behind, the bulb, the cable and the ceiling plate are all part of the design, so check what a fixture looks like switched off as well as lit. And because a bare form gives you no diffusion, a dimmer does more for a minimalist room than an extra fixture would.
