Gold Wall Sconces
A gold sconce warms a wall twice: once with its light and once with its finish. These brass-look wall lights suit bedsides, hallways and mirrors — anywhere the fixture stays in view even when it's off.
Gold and brass are not one colour. Polished reads bright and reflective, brushed is softer and hides fingerprints, and aged or antique brass goes browner and warmer and sits better beside wood and stone. Mixing metals in a room is fine; mixing two slightly different golds usually is not, so pick one and repeat it. Sconces also work in pairs — either side of a mirror, either side of a bed, or evenly spaced along a hallway.
