The Rowan pairs a matte black metal frame with a vintage-stained wood frame that rotates, so its outline shifts from a structured cube to an artistic cross. The open centre lets light spread freely.

How high to hang it over tables, islands and beds

Dining

  • Hang the bottom 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft (2.4 m) ceiling. Add 3 in (7.5 cm) for every extra foot of ceiling.
  • Width: room length + width in feet = pendant width in inches. A 12 × 14 ft room suits a fixture around 26 in (66 cm) across.
  • Center it on the table, not the room. The table is the anchor.

Kitchen island
