The Blackfriars is a compact acrylic pendant with high light transmission for soft, even light. You can switch its LED light between warm, neutral and cool tones.

How high to hang it over tables, islands and beds

Dining

  • Hang the bottom 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft (2.4 m) ceiling. Add 3 in (7.5 cm) for every extra foot of ceiling.
  • Width: room length + width in feet = pendant width in inches. A 12 × 14 ft room suits a fixture around 26 in (66 cm) across.
  • Center it on the table, not the room. The table is the anchor.

Kitchen island

  • Hang pendants 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the countertop.
