The KUU is a pendant named after the Finnish word for moon. Its inner circle rotates endlessly, shifting the light between direct and indirect and tracing shapes from crescent to full circle.

How high to hang it over tables, islands and beds

Dining

  • Hang the bottom 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft (2.4 m) ceiling. Add 3 in (7.5 cm) for every extra foot of ceiling.
  • Width: room length + width in feet = pendant width in inches. A 12 × 14 ft room suits a fixture around 26 in (66 cm) across.
  • Center it on the table, not the room. The table is the anchor.

Kitchen island
