Materials & care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately — avoid harsh, abrasive or solvent-based cleaners.
Always switch off the power at the wall before cleaning or changing a bulb.

Measuring guide
Dining
- Hang the bottom 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft (2.4 m) ceiling. Add 3 in (7.5 cm) for every extra foot of ceiling.
- Width: room length + width in feet = pendant width in inches. A 12 × 14 ft room suits a fixture around 26 in (66 cm) across.
- Center it on the table, not the room. The table is the anchor.
Kitchen island
- Hang pendants 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the countertop.
- Space them 24–30 in (61–76 cm) apart, and keep 6 in (15 cm) in from each end of the island.
- Two pendants for islands under 6 ft (183 cm); three for 6–8 ft (183–244 cm). Odd numbers read best.
Living
- Anywhere people walk under it, keep at least 7 ft (213 cm) between the floor and the bottom of the pendant.
- Aim for 2–3 in (5–7.5 cm) of fixture height per foot (30 cm) of ceiling.
- Width: room length + width in feet = fixture width in inches.
Entryway
- Keep 7 ft (213 cm) of walking clearance under the fixture.
- With an 8 ft (2.4 m) ceiling, choose a fixture 16–24 in (41–61 cm) tall.
- Sloped ceiling over the door? Use a hang-straight adapter and measure clearance from the fixture's lowest point.
Bedside
- Hang the bottom 30–36 in (76–91 cm) above the mattress, about 20 in (51 cm) above the nightstand.
- Center it over the nightstand, or 12 in (30 cm) in from the edge of the bed.
- Light lands on your book, not in your eyes, and the whole nightstand stays free.
