Membership and terms
Referral rates
Each order uses one buying model. Your referral tier does not give the client your trade discount.
Qualification uses retained referred sales in a rolling 12 months. Commission applies to approved products and collected merchandise revenue after discounts and refunds, excluding tax, freight, installation and excluded items. Every referral rate is subject to project approval and confirmed before the client accepts the quote.
A practical example. An approved CAD5,000 net merchandise order at 8% earns CAD400. The final amount follows retained revenue after any cancellation or refund.

Is there a fee to become a partner?
The partner program is free to apply for and has no membership fee. You do not need to buy products to apply. Business eligibility and each referral are reviewed before approval; rates and payment terms are agreed in writing.
Can plumbers and renovation professionals join?
Yes. Refer clients choosing lighting for a bathroom or wider renovation. The client’s qualified installer confirms installation requirements.
Can I combine trade pricing and commission?
Each order uses one model. Your trade purchase creates an opportunity for resale margin. An approved direct client purchase earns a separately agreed referral commission. Buyer offers do not stack.
How does project registration work?
Register before a quote is issued. Existing opportunities and duplicate registrations need review. Registration lasts 90 days, with written extensions for longer projects.
When is commission paid?
Commission becomes payable 45 days after confirmed delivery, once payment has cleared and any open claim is resolved. Approved balances are paid monthly; amounts below CAD50 carry forward. Refunds reduce earnings and cancellations cancel them. Overpayments are reconciled under the agreed terms.
What should I tell my client?
Let them know you may receive a commission. If you act as their purchasing agent or buy for an employer, obtain the appropriate authorization. Their quote and invoice show the actual transaction; your commission is recorded separately.
